Allison Nogi, PT, DPT

Allison Nogi, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist at the Emory Dizziness and Balance Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She specializes in the treatment of individuals with vestibular dysfunction and balance deficits. Currently, she is involved in research analyzing backwards ambulation and fall risk, and exploring the importance of the humanities in physical therapy education. The study of humanities resonates with Allison, as she believes that the most important aspect of patient care is the balance of compassion and empathy with evidence-based practice. Dr. Huba’s work inspired her to integrate mind-mapping into her physical therapy treatment sessions, especially when treating clients with progressive neurologic disease.
